Co Founder & Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist

I’m a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with over 16 years of experience supporting adults through anxiety, burnout, life transitions, relationship challenges, and the pressures that come with trying to hold everything together.

As Co Founder of SoCal Soul Family Therapy, I wanted to help create a practice where people feel genuinely seen, supported, and understood, not just as clients, but as whole people. Much of my career has been rooted in community mental health, where I had the privilege of working with individuals from diverse backgrounds and through many different seasons of life. Those experiences shaped the therapist I am today: compassionate, practical, culturally responsive, and deeply aware that there is rarely just one thing contributing to how we feel.

I’m especially passionate about working with adults who may appear high functioning on the outside but feel overwhelmed, disconnected, or stuck internally. Many of my clients are used to being the strong one, the person others rely on, the one who keeps going and takes care of everyone else, while rarely having space to focus on themselves.

Therapy with me is a place where you don’t have to have everything figured out. Together, we can slow things down, understand the patterns that may be keeping you stuck, reconnect with what matters to you, and develop practical ways to navigate life with greater clarity and intention.

I offer therapy in both English and Spanish and approach each client with curiosity, warmth, and respect for the cultural, family, and life experiences that have shaped who they are.

Therapy Approach

My approach to therapy is collaborative, supportive, and tailored to your individual needs. I integrate evidence based practices, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), while also incorporating mindfulness, grounding techniques, and a holistic understanding of emotional well being.

In our work together, we may explore unhelpful thought patterns, emotional responses, relationship dynamics, past experiences, and the ways these may be influencing how you feel today. I also help clients clarify their values, strengthen emotional regulation, and develop practical coping strategies they can use in everyday life.

I believe therapy should offer more than insight. It should give you tools to better understand yourself and create meaningful change. My goal is to help you become more aware of the patterns that may be keeping you stuck, build greater self compassion, and feel more confident navigating challenges in a way that aligns with who you are and what matters most to you.
